Why do we use enzymes in our solutions?
Before exploring why we use enzymatic solutions, let’s find out exactly what an enzyme is. An enzyme is a naturally occurring protein with extraordinary catalytic properties. The role of enzymes is to break down organic residues into water-soluble fragments. They can therefore be a great replacement for certain compounds used in the past.
Where do they come from?
Enzymes are natural proteins. In other words, an amino acid chain produced by a living organism to carry out a defined function.
Our enzymatic solutions contain enzymes selected and developed for their catalytic properties and their capacities for resistance in difficult environments.
How do enzymes act?
Enzymes act on organic materials to break them down into smaller molecules. There are several large families of enzymes that attack the large families of organic materials: lipases attack lipids (fats), proteases attack proteins, etc. Once these have been broken down and are suspended in water, they can be easily eliminated. In addition, the waste water containing our enzymatic solutions can be treated more easily.
Why choose enzymatic solutions?
- The production of enzymes does not require the use of petrochemical products
- Their use enables significant water-saving and also maximises the quality of waste water.
- Less aggressive towards equipment
- Uses the power of nature
The eZ range: a new range of enzymatic solutions.
Thanks to our collaboration with R&O Lab, a laboratory specialising in biotechnology, we are now offering our brand new range of enzymatic products. The eZ range is reserved exclusively for professionals and includes targeted solutions depending on the field of application: waste water treatment, grease traps, pipes and septic tanks, manure, compost, outdoor surfaces, as well as cleaning for the food industry. Over 20 enzymatic solutions, some of which already carry the Ecocert label: eZ Bac, eZ Stop, eZ Foss, eZ Foam, eZ Brew and eZ Pur.
